The Historic
Bala Bay Inn

We are humbled and excited to be the next stewards of historic Bala Bay Inn. Built in the early 1900’s the hotel opened it’s doors to guests the summer of 1910. Originally branded the Swastika Hotel; named for a symbol of fortune and luck. The hotel was renamed with the misappropriation of the symbol in WWII. Since then, it has had a long history of hosting overnight guests and day visitors to Muskoka with lively and entertaining events. It's been the Bala Bay Inn, Bala Bay Lodge, Cranberry Inn, Bala Bay Hostel and is now resuming it’s affectional local referral as 'The Inn'. Welcome Back!

You don't get to be this old without having a few stories...
